On tour again; however, The Lion represents all I believe in true MEN. A man can be fierce and love his babies dearly without sacrificing a bit of his ego. He/MAN must learn this lesson. My dad and I listened to this album when we cleaned the house on Saturdays and when it got to this song, the cleaning would stop and he would chase me around the house pretending to be "the lion." Hold on a minute. There must be something in my eye.

Thank you. My Dad had the Reader's Digest collection of 7 Lp's which featured all of his songs. And when my dad missed his father, he would take out the collection and listen to them while having a little brandy. Today, when I miss my dad, I take out my Neil Diamond Collection and have a little brandy and cry to songs like Morningside, I am... I said, and more. Thanks for making a grown man cry a little bit.

my mom was a Diamond fanatic, and I have fond memories of listening to this on hot summer nights like tonight, and this song just came into my head out of nowhere, so I looked it up. I've met a lot of people that said they were huge fans but didn't know this album.
