Aaron Gottfried was a member of a Scientology family and, as a teenager, he started showing symptoms of the devastating mental illness BIPOLAR AFFECTIVE DISORDER (formerly known as Manic Depression). Bipolar patients have a life expectancy of only 55 years due to the high frequency of suicide amongst untreated patients.
Aarons parents, unusually for Scientologists, were ready to accept traditional Psychiatric treatment for their son. However, their local church banned this avenue of treatment and applied their own methods (known as Introspective Rundown), which involves isolating the patient from human contact, denying them food and overloading them with high doses of vitamins.
This failed to cure Aaron (as it fails with every psychotic Scientologist) and Aarons parents sought traditional Psychiatric treatment, which effectively relieved Aarons symptoms, and Aaron now leads a normal life.
This pivotal video illustrates that Psychiatry works whilst Scientologys alternatives fail and this has lead to hundreds of deaths (please see my Playlist for details of many of the victims of Scientologys Medical Malpractice).

  • I'm Bipolar.

I'm also a PhD in Neuroscience and Psychiatry.

Bipolar is a perfectly acceptable term for psychosis that cycles between mania and depression.

    Regards,

    Chris.

  • People speak out ! good!

Let´s see what CCHR does to the book

  • Following legal actions involving the Church of Scientology's relationship with its members, it has become standard practice within the church for members to sign lengthy legal contracts and waivers before engaging in Scientology services. In 2003, a series of media reports examined the legal contracts required by Scientology, which require that, among other things, Scientology followers deny any and all psychiatric care that their doctors may prescribe to them:

  • According to Invisible Refugee I have periodically not existed for the last 15 years of my life. Haha Ask my family, friends etc. And what goes for Ph. D in psychiatry and bipolar: heard of Kay Redfield Jamison? And Xenu how I wished you were there saying these things around a manic psychotic patient of the aggressive sort.

  • It does exist! It's just that some people are stupid and think they have this disease but they really don't.

  • @InvisibleRefugee2 where's your proof of that?

  • Cannabis and other experimental drugs cured mine, along with breaking down the the psyche. Severe depression to constant anger. Mind you, the BS that i put up with throughout school didn't help. From age 5 all the way up till 21, it felt like i had little control over my conscience. Since my awaken and finding myself, i've been able to help many other people.

    I'm a happy man today.....and i don't watch TV anymore. :-)

    Thanks for the upload!!

  • @maniccrayon There is a cure but not in psychiatry alone.

  • You can't be cured from bipolar disorder by psychiatry alone.

  • There is no cure for Bipolar Disorder or any other mental illness.

  • @jnycnuk -I knew Hubbard incessantly spewed anti psychiatry doctrine but i wasn't aware of this this..wow,signing waivers in order to 'go free'...that's cute

LOL.Ron really was paranoid about the psychs. He certainly didnt want his flock talking with anyone who knew about the way he operated.

On a sidenoe In 'wall of fire' Hubbard reveals for the firat time that the evil lord xenu is indeed a psychiatrist..LMFAO

    Hubbard was a hoot!

  • @InvisibleRefugee2 i love sports and excercise and I'm not manic. In Australia we value our athletes and sportspeople.

We also value creative genius and freedom of expression. I've been to Hollywood too and believe me there's people there that are very crazy and insane and they are not bipolar or depressed and not in need of psychiatric care because that's who they are. There's no conspiracy, and noone is bothering to read your rants in their entirety so keep it short and sweet.

  • @InvisibleRefugee2 a human brain doesn't always function normally, period. That's where some people need a bit of help and what do witch hunts and holocausts have to do with medication. If I wake up with a hangover I take a panadol and the headache goes away. If I have a flu I take some pseudoephedrine and it relieves the symptoms. I will happily do it again. If some people out there have sickness of the brain, and it doesn't function 100 per cent the way it should and they choose drugs, good!
