Here I demonstrate some of the vintage appliances in my kitchen. The Hotpoint range is a 40" electric model with dual ovens and pushbutton controls. The buttons light up different colors depending on the temperature you select or the oven function (red for broil, yellow for timed and green for bake). The refrigerator I think is from 1952 and features a separate freezer compartment. Both are in daily use and good working condition.

  • That a cool kitchen old fashion stove and fridge in your house and your kitchen makes look like Pee Wee Herman movie set from the 1986 movie called "Pee Wee Big Adventure".

  • Vintage appliances had much more style! Today's appliances all look the same.

  • Old manual defrost fridges can actually be very efficient, as long as the door seals are good. Plus they are nice and quiet.

  • The fridge looks red in the video

  • Why did somebody paint the refrigerator that ugly brown color? They should have repainted it white.

  • I reckon that stove will last 10x longer than any new stove, computerized, or not! Same with that old refrigerator KEEP USING IT and upset the greenies! The worst that can really happen is a stuffed relay, which sadly happened to our 62 freezer there is a video of that on my channel

  • at 1:42, what's that baylor senior thing?

  • Nice stove. Built like a battleship. The dual oven feature must be nice. I would prefer a gas stove though.

  • A friend of mine had one simular to this but but it was a RCA brand

  • Very nice appliances, Retrochad. So solidly built and no motherboards, LOL.
