This is possibly one of my favorites of Jerry Lee. Hearing The Killer makes me happy. I would much rather have him playing on the radio than some of the artists nowadays.

Well shove that in your pipe and smoke Jimmy swaggert he didn't agree with jerrys life but I'm sure he took his money.

I've met this great man, the Killer, met him 20 years ago, it's still like yesterday to me. He's as charming as all get-out.

This man is incredible.
I always thought Jerry sounded best alone at his piano...what a gem of a song, from the man who tosses out gems like confetti.
If you want to hear the greatest artist of the first generation of rock 'n' roll, there's only one man to let through your door...them call him Killer, because he is.

how fantastic would it be if jerry graced us with an album of standards like this...no strings, no background singers...just his voice and ten fingers. there are a scant few examples from the past (the 'good rockin' tonight' from the sun box set is still in my personal top 5) and it may not be too late. recordings like these have charm and wit not found in his catalogue...thanks for the post.
