WWF Superstars ran from 1986-1997 and continued in 2009-Current. Superstars was the Raw in the late 80s and 90s and when Monday Night Raw started in 1993, turned into the Smackdown of the 90s. What that means is that Superstars was not a give away show like Sunday Night Heat, Metal or Velocity. It boosted storylines and had its main stars developed their characters and lead the WWF into great Pay-Per-Views like what Raw and Smackdown do today.
