In reply to your question, Emma plays a Peter Eaton clarinet - beautifully crafted, but very expensive!

As you can see I wrote a positive comment on this piece and someone took the time to write me back with a negative comment. I did take the time to write him and then I came back here to listen to this piece again just to see if I still liked it and guess what I didn't . . . I LOVED IT ! ! ! Keep on playing and posting and we'll keep on listening and enjoying. I wish I were half as good as you! Warmest Regards, Samantha

You talk as if you have never heard a proper classical musician in your life. Which area are you from?

@MegaChemboy I agree to you in some extent but i don't believe at all she plays like a robot in the slightest. I would say that she needs to use more dynamics but she plays in no way like a robot it is flowing and smoove and it does still utilize the fel of the piece

I just listened to alot of different clips of the clarinet by many different people but I got instant goosebumps the second she started playing! It was sheer perfection. I love this! Hope to hear more.

wat kind of clarinet does she hav????? koolio!
I have the sheet music of this piece from her book Encores and I noticed that that bar 5-8(2 times 2 bar theme) are only played once here but are written twice in the sheet music. What is correct ?

This is an interesting question so I did some research. The original opera has only two bars like on this recording, but Rachmaninov's solo piano transcription has them repeated like in the book. So you can choose! Maybe play only two bars with an orchestra, and play four bars when playing with piano.
