Superb set of shots from some interesting alternative angles...I particularly liked 48305 on the windcutters framed by the signal and brake van at Quorn.

As Britain's only mainline preserved railway, the GCR offers the photographer enormous potential.

Was this taken on Saurday or Sunday? I ask because I was Pitchford Hall's fireman on the evening TPO on Sunday 27th January.

Thank you for your kind comments. The GC is a unique railway that never fails to impress. This year's winter gala was a superb event. Unfortunately I was only able to attend on the Saturday.
