I think it very much is a case of language changing over time. That said, one day we'll just merge your/you're into a single word considering the current poor usage.

It bothers me that intuitive and intuitable are used interchangeably in the same way that hot and piquant are used interchangeably. It leads to confusing, and working to clear the air on the issue can only be a good thing.
