A few clips of our local mushing group getting together for some short runs, mostly to work on basic commands, head-on passing etc. We're able to mix and match most of our dogs so we can train in smaller 2-dog scooter teams, as well as 8-dog carting teams and anything in between. • are all these dogs your, or are they trained rental dogs?

  • 3 of them are mine and the others belong to friends. We mix and match dog teams every weekend, so they can get used to other dogs.

  • how do they know were to go & not to??

  • You just tell them... :-)

It takes time, practice and most of all patience. It always comes in handy to attend a mushing clinic to learn from experienced mushers.

  • haha awosme i love huckys i have two XD

but the ones at 3:19 look big holy crap man are you sure they arent malamutes?

or atleast the black one on the right that cant be a husky 0.o i wish mine was that big but hes so skinny D: will he thickin out like that?

    5/5

  • That's funny. The black one on the right might be barrel chested, but she's nowhere near malamute size. She's just about 50lbs. The red one on the left is only 46lbs, so she's no heavyweight either.
