A song against war. Written by the scotish folk singer Jim Malcolm. He´s a former member of the Old Blind Dogs. A great song.

  • You bring back so many warm memories hiking and driving around Scotlands places. Did you ever do other Burn's tunes like Logan Braes. I had an ancestor in Lt.Colonel Gardiner's "E" Troop, James Powrie, gunner, so the song has a lot of sentimental meaning to me.

I own every Old Blind Dogs Cd, I think. You may have heard of my cousin Ian Powrie? His father William, brother by same name, and sister Mary were favorites of ours. thanks for the music, food of the soul!
