@Ngozi4 Like his name sake Mayweather Jr. he should start at about 13 or 14, this is a healthy age to start. Also given his level of skill he shouldn't have more than 100 fights before turning pro. Fighters who've had too many amateur fights have been known to burn out early in their pro careers.
Guys like Donald Curry come to mind, tremendous amateurs who had too many amateur bouts and burnt out early after impressive pro career starts.
