Oh those sweet and wonderful memries of yesteryears, vividly remember this magical tune brings covetd 1st price in an amateur singing contest at the aged of nine yrs old . This I fondly remembered was the period that initiated me to appreciate the lyrics and each melodious tunes which up to this current times lovers of inspirational music still cherishes the wonders that it brings to the hearts. My mother sings this song while putting my brothers and sisters to sleep. It brings back a lot of memories - grew up with this song and still loves this very much.

I'm not Italian but I love this song very much. I first heard this song when I was in college maybe 1956 in the Philippines. It reminds me of my best friend who called his girl friend "Innamorata". Such a lovely song, one of my old time favorites.
