This is the finished product. Classic Minesweeper game I implemented from scratch using only the capabilities of Gridworld, the College Board's educational case study for the AP Computer Science A course. This program requires every single method found in the entire case study packet, and more, unmentioned ones such as locationClicked, keyPressed, and getImageSuffix. This program is NOT as easy as it may seem. I give you the code at the beginning of the video for the reason that you don't have to ask me how I did it.
In this video I skim through the code and then demonstrate a game. While yes, I did lose, that's not the point of the video. The hardest part of this program was to get the flags working properly. Aside from that, the recursive revealing of empty spaces wasn't easy and nor was fixing the game to make sure your first click can't lose.
I am considering adding a walkthrough of this program. Comment "Pink Sneasel" if you would like this.
@Mindstormscreator Whatever number is displayed is how many bombs are immediately adjacent. The goal is to flag every bomb without flipping any over. Great addictive puzzle game but frustrating at first.
