Daniel Lanois & Billy Bob Thornton - SlingBlade Monologue

Billy Bob Thornton joined Daniel Lanois on stage at The Vista Theater In Los Angeles. He spoke the monologue from SlingBlade. It was incredible to witness. This was filmed from the very back row of the theater. It gets shaky at the end because I saw that my tape was about to end so I was fishing around to get another camera ready to catch the whole thing. It turned out that I had enough tape. Sorry for the rough ending.

God Bless Billy Bob. The entire character, the conception of Karl, the conception of "SlingBlade" is such a triumph. Truly one of the greatest films I've ever seen. It was cheated at the Oscars. "Titanic", yeah, what ever!!
