A wet vacuum cleaner to the drain is a very quick fix; just make sure to have it on "suck" mode instead of "blow" (my dad just made that mistake and ended up with drain goop exploding all over him and the bathroom walls!)

@HughWalenski he didn't have to turn off water because he was working on the drain pipe not the water supply pipe.

My mom won't let me do this cause she thinks everything gonna splatter. Sigh..

very helpful. Thanks! Took all of three minutes :)

Found a needle and ten pounds of hair <3 Thank you lol.

There appears to be a cat in that drain. Wow, what a clog!

This video helped me. I didnt find hair but nickel and a penny.

Yeah worked for me too. Thanks!
I did all this and it is still not draining. Could the clog be further back? My plumbing underneath looks more like an S than a P trap. It comes out of the wall then goes up before turning back down into the P trap. I can remove the PVC P-trap as you show but the linkage beyond this towards the wall are not hand nuts. Any suggestions?

I would suggest buying a "snake" at a home improvement center and try fishing it in the drain pipe to remove any clogs.

don't you have to turn the water off first ?

No, not unless you plan on turning the faucet handles on while you disconnect the drain pipe.
