Part 8: Now that I have all the vectors traced out, this step involves turning all the outlines into solid grayscale shapes so they're easier to distinguish from each other and select when I bring them into photoshop.

These tones do not necessarily reflect any actual color or tone that will be used in the final render.

After I've done all this, I'll export these files from Freehand to Illustrator, then from Illustrator to layered photoshop files. I'll document the rest of this process as I fill in those shapes with real textures and apply various photoshop trickery to create the illusion of layered, cut paper.
