A local visit to Castleton, Manchester to see some preserved diesels being dragged by 37706 to Keighley for the upcoming diesel gala at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway in West Yorkshire (11th-13 June). Castleton is located on the Manchester Victoria to Rochdale/Leeds line with this being the only mainline entrance and exit for the East Lancs Railway.
The train consisted of 37706 / 50015 / 33109 / 37901 with 37706 being sent earlier in the day from Carnforth to pick the other three locomotives up.
The footage was filmed around 12:30 with the train running as '0Z40 07:59 Carnforth Steam Town - Keighley & Worth Valley Railway via Heywood'.
Some interesting Network Rail footage can also be seen in this video.
