exactly, everyone says British accent, and yet I don't sound like the fucking queen. I'm from Darlington, my accent is like a mix between geordie and yorkshire.

Yeah, we like you guys, from what I've seen of Canadians you have a very European mentality, and we like that. None of that ignorant American shit, and to think a border separates you guys that much, it's bizarre. I have a lot of respect for Canadians, I think I'd go mad if America was my neighbour :-s.

Actually the councils have to distribute money accordingly. Teesside earns very little money, however Darlington (which is where I'm from) earns quite a lot for a town, and it has it's own county. So even though Darlington is right on the border of Teesside, it is a much more pleasant area than Teesside. London only earns money for the London area.

English pound. Scotland, and Northern Ireland have the pound, but it looks different, and it's not readily accepted in England and Wales.
Take in mind Wales is not a country - it's a principality of England.

Well I'm Canadian and we love the British and they love us (as far as I know). Americans, I'm divided on them. I have lots of American friends, whom I love dearly, but then again there are a whole shitload of ppl in that country (the majority, really) who are seriously effed up.
