Interview Jean Giraud "Moebius"

Am I the only person who sees the resemblance between him and Larry David?

Corben isn't worthy to sharpen Giraud's pencils, dude.
In the kingdom of comics there's only one king: MOEBIUS.

Actually, I spent an afternoon with Giraud once--a fine man and first class, as is Corben. Indeed they are both in classes by themselves though very different. Corben made innovations in technique as well as developing an original form.

And Corben was first recognized in France.

At one point Metal Hurlant was Corben and Moebius.

How can I describe my devotion for this sci fi god??. Awesome!!!

I am desperately looking for just an IMAGE on the web of Moebius's Spiderman poster - it's dark with Spiderman on a cliff from a distance...anyone help a poor chick out?

Recently, I got tired of the anime style (no offense to anime fans out there), and I was looking for alternatives. So last night, I saw Moebius' film collab with Rene Laloux's film called Time Masters. Really blew me away.

Hey, jonjon. I just discovered Time Masters a few years ago and was thrilled to see Moebius in film form. It also may explain why Moebius was not involved in the Heavy Metal film. It seems both films were in production about the same time. I also just learned that Enki Bilal's "The Immortal's Fete" was made into a film called "Immortal (Ad Vitam)"

I would argue that Moebius, in many ways, influenced anime. Corben relies to heavily on CG, but I own and enjoy his work as well

Corben is truely unique.
