This amazing automaton from http://www.cool4cats.biz depicts the terrible end of S.S. CARDBORDIA, the unsinkable ocean liner. As the handle is turned, she sets sail across the paper ocean, only to meet her end in the icy gloom as she strikes the terrible paperberg. This automaton can be bought as an easy-to-build paper kit from www.cool4cats.biz. Go on, buy one now and witness the terrible disaster for yourself!

  • You're right about the Titanic not sailing from New York, but this is S.S.CARDBOARDIA, and not the Titanic. (Actually, I thought it would make a prettier model to include the wonderful New York skyline, call it artistic license!)

  • The titanic

  • I'm pretty sure that the Titanic was heading to New York from Queenstown, Ireland before it hit an iceberg, not vice versa. Beautiful work nonetheless!
