You're right about the Titanic not sailing from New York, but this is S.S.CARDBOARDIA, and not the Titanic. (Actually, I thought it would make a prettier model to include the wonderful New York skyline, call it artistic license!)

I'm pretty sure that the Titanic was heading to New York from Queenstown, Ireland before it hit an iceberg, not vice versa. Beautiful work nonetheless!
