Blade control. Watch the legendary Colonel Ryabko teaching knife disarming at 2010 Summit of Masters.
Note how Mikhail controls the attacker's attention - the opponent is sure of what he is doing... but that's an illusion... in the next moment he is completely unaware of his knife and his movement.

Join the next Summit of Masters at a 5-star resort in Cancun, Mexico in February 2011: http://web.me.com/inkoga/_Summit_of_Masters_in_Mexico/Welcome.html

Thanks man, I cant help laughing every time I watch this. I really miss the guys and the great time we had at camp. The guys in out hut were awesome :-))

Stay well and I'll see you at the next Summit!

  • @TheLeonsimard What the other guy said is 100% true but, I've also seen him deminstrate all these moves at full speed with a real blade. Mikhail is no joke. He's definitely the real deal. I've been taking Judo and Muai Tai for quite a few years and when I started Systema I developed a true spiritual sense for it. I have thus stopped all other martial arts training since starting Systema.

  • @m33lad yes its easier but its the only way to start training. Advanced students might train faster but it wouldnt be helpful as a demostration for the other students.

  • How did he get a Marine desert Cover?!!!???

  • @TheDimotheus start trying, stop talking...

  • ryabko my idol s :)

  • But in real life I am not saying it wont be able to do able. But you get a guy with a knife his goanna be crazy trying to go at you full power. In training of course is a lot easier

  • does anuyone think this art is good? im not saying its bad nor that its good im jw

  • woww Ryabko you are a great PERSON GOD BLESS YOU

  • It's just imposible to hit him^^

  • people fall down in martial arts videos just the same as they do in videos of religious mumbo-jumbo-gatherings during "healing". it's just as bad, and just as misleading and false.

  • honestly id like to see him and a ninjutsu grandmaster go at it
