." She believed those description of blue sky exist only in fairy tale books." this makes me mad! wtf i love xbox but shit... what i would really love is that men and women, kids so on could see real water clouds, the sun, we take that for granted....they have food and water....but i think everyone in china needs a day when the sun comes out and shines and they can see the stars and the moon...

I have been to Beijing twice this year. The pollution was much worse when I was there during April and May this year. I just got back last week from my second visit of the year, it was not too bad this time. A couple of the days I was there, visability was down to around 100m. But on the whole, it did seem that some of the issues have been addressed. BJ is growing all the time though and has a big industrial base, as well as countless new cars joining the roads each day. That won't help things.

To cut down on pollution.

People = Pollution
Less People = Less Pollution

Everything has a reason.

Does your country suffers from overpopulation? China's population turned to 1.3 billion in 2005, if it wasn't for the one-child policy then the population would've reached 1.3 billion likely in 2001.

Look everyone this is just Fog!!! This is what the Chinese Government is telling the world and they would not lie!

Sure it's 30+C degree's outside, and the middle of the day and it's been "foggy" every day for the last 5 years, but it's just fog okay!

And Blue Sky days mean just that.. above the coal smoke, the tyre fires and Nitrous Oxide smog cloud covering the city there is beautiful blue skys! Get a Boeing 747 to take you up to 30000 feet and you'll see what i'm talking about!
