The Ultra Sieve III is a mechanical pre-filter used to maximize all forms of pond filtration. A 300 micron (virtually non-clogging) uni-directional screen separates particulates out of the water column. Cleaner water then continues thru to your regular pond filter (bead filter &/or biological filter). Applications w/the Ultra Sieve III are substantially more diverse than other styles due to the ability to accept higher flow rates. Dual entry allows for numerous connections (2 -- 4" bottom drains, 4" bottom drain + skimmer, 2 -- 3" bottom drains + skimmer, mid-water intakes, etc.). With a long history in Holland & throughout the rest of Europe, the Aqua-Forte Ultra Sieve III is now available in North America. Ideal for dedicated koi ponds as well as advanced water garden & natural swim pond applications.
