When odd reports are received through official channels stating that the President of the United States is being held captive on a secret international moon base called Vegan and that he has been replaced on Earth by a clone, the US Marshall Service immediately sends their 'best' man, Dix, on the mission.

Dix travels to Vegan to rescue the president, but is quickly duped and ends up returning to Earth where he installs the clone-president and removes the real one. The bumbling Dix must then find a way to restore the real president before aliens take over the Earth, and restore in himself a belief in truth, justice and the American way.

  • @richard250891 because, Naked Gun Series and movies are the greatest piece of comedy of all time! And sadly no other movies could be funnier.

  • RIP Leslie Nielsen

  • What's the name of the song that the president plays on his saxophone near the end of the movie? It's really catchy but I have no idea what it's called. You can see it at 1.40 in this video clip

  • @theinsanobraino its a spoof film... just like airplane so of course it is using the same humour

  • I hope George Gaynes(Eric lassard from police academy) won't be the next one.

  • I was sad when I found out that he passed away. He was my favorite actor, always calm in every movie and with a small smile on his face. RIP Leslie Neilson.

  • This movie is absolutely terrible but I love it!

  • I met Leslie Nielson when my dad was making this film with him. He was awesome and its so sad to hear that he passed away. RIP Leslie Nielson!

  • This is without question a big pile of dookie, but come on it is quite a pleasurable one though. Bad fart jokes and sexual humor, and the stolen Airplane 2 plot; what's not to love?
