Ah, Ben--I laughed with you, having been there (on the floor) so many times I've actually figured out the "lift and flip" maneuver you used for myself! I am paralyzed at L3, but the issues of getting up are similar. Gotta laugh, and keep working to get the moves, right?! Just be safe...and keep that sense of humor.

@indianlady817 =) he knows i was just kidding..bassets are NOT good listeners and kinda do what they want when they want. ..but for the most part he's trained pretty well. .i was yelling "i can do it myself" cause that's what y crippled ass will say to people joking with them. .you know, the whole "i'm too proud to ask for help" thing =) he's a good boy and i agree, he was absolutly worried for me.. he's very in tune with me and he gets all happy and excited when he sees his daddy be strong =)
