To everyone who has commented or plans on commenting:

Deciding not to wear a helmet is my own personal decision. I don't care if you think I should have worn one or not. Don't waste your time lecturing me about not wearing one, because it's not going to change my mind.

This pony is perfectly fine with my weight on her. She is super strong. She is mostly ridden by little kids, but show ponies have to be schooled by adults from time to time. Otherwise they would get away with murder and learn bad habits.

If you have any other concerns about the welfare of this pony, know that I have had 11+ years experience riding, owning and running my own barn. I know what I'm doing.

Peace!

  • the pony looks comfortable with the weight of the lady and im sure that if she couldnt stand it she would have refused the jump colapsed aor just gotten the rider off

  • Just to add to the "arguement":

I have just under 16 years of horses (I'm 16 now. was put on a horse when I could sit up well enough. 1st competition at age 3, I placed 3rd!!). I was going to go on about how you look like a giant on your cute little pony, but she carries you fine and was even able to jump! She can carry her rider just fine!! (however, generally when your legs can touch the ground while riding that means you are too big, LOL!)

Happy riding, I wish you and your pony well!!

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Yep. People always forget about the ones who actually break these ponies...it's not going to be a 4-6 year old child now is it?

That pony is so happy to jump with this girl on her back, and the helmet thing? Come on! Why should it be someone elses decision? Leave it alone.

Have fun with your little pony, she is definately a star, you may be too tall, but you sure can ride her with ease and she loves you! :)

  • hahaha mdr dont sque you liven ty

  • Ponies are SOOOO freakin AWESOME! ;) <3

  • if you dont want to wear a helmet, then thats your decision! you know your pony better than anyone on here, dont listen to those haters who think they know everything about horses, because truth, you can't know EVERYTHING about SOMETHINGS! I have a friend who thinks she knows everything about horses, but she puts a saddle on backwards when tacking XD
