Good concern mate...

@Msoulantzos I'm not sure what country you're from, but I'm in the correct lane there. Bikes are allowed to use any part of the public highway.

There was plenty of space. I don't know what you are talking about. On the bike like yours it is very difficult to do that, but on the MB I will pass that truck 3 times. By the way, further left is a bike line. They are build for cyclist to do not interrupt with road traffic. Unfortunately bikes are still slower then cars. I know what I am talking about, 25 years on the bike and 15 years in a car and on motorbike.

@caine7877 What might happen if the tread on his tyres touches your clothing? You could be dragged under in a heartbeat.
See other comments on why not to use that cycle lane, btw.

oh look on the left , isnt that a cycle lane that runs under the bridge

@imawakeish I can't blame him for not using it - I tried it myself twice, and that's why I stick to the roads. I can blame him for riding like a twit though. All he'd need to do to be safe is just take the middle of the lane until things opened up for safe filtering a few minutes later.
A bit more patience would do a lot of good for many road users. ;)

@CyclingMikey fair do's but is that one of them shit bike lanes that leads no where ?
imawakeish 21 hours ago
@imawakeish Spot on mate, that's exactly it. It dumps you back on the road just the other side of the bridge, about 50m further on.
