@SycoMantis91 No , Halford IS the voice of Priest .
-
is it just me or does this beat any of the recordings of this song created with Halford?

@Erck712 If you REALLY want a true showcase of Ripper's abilities, check out Winters Bane's "Heart of a Killer" one of the all-time great metal albums and he destroys thoughout.

Gotta say, I don't like Tim's studio stuff with Priest, but he absolutely shreds on the classic material.

why the fuck is the audience singing usher in the beginning of the video? lol

@Erck712 Ripper is an amazing vocalist, but I like his eras of Priest and Iced Earth. Beyond Fear is very awesome.

Many people are making the mistake of simply comparing Ripper to Halford. Ya gotta look past that. I was skeptical at first too but then I really listened to Tim and he's an incredible vocalist!
It's a shame bands like Priest and Iced Earth have somewhat ruined his reputation. He does have his own stuff including Beyond Fear which is awesome and I really recommend listening to it.
As for covering Priest live, I think he does a hell of a job. See it as a tribute, not a comparison. Hail Priest!
