Gretna S.C 1 Howard Rangers 1 (2nd Half)(season 2011-12).

In the second half Howard Rangers showed some great battling spirit and could have easily won the game, they levelled the game with around 30 minutes left after some great play and a great strike from Matty Green that the Gretna keeper spilled and Aiden Hanley was on hand to fire in the rebound. Hanley had a number of other opportunities late in the game, but Gretna weathered the storm and could have easily have snatched the points very late on, but their one gilt edged chance was fired well over the cross bar from close range. All in all a fair result and a great debut for Howard Rangers new signing Ben Henderson who had a man of the match performance in midfield after been thrown right in from the start.
