20kg chain at each side, with 40kg resistance elastic bend. About 140kg at peak contraction.(一邊20kg的chain,bend有大概40kg的阻力,加上槓子,推到最上面大概有140kg的重量)

  • holy shit, 140 is my max hahahahah this dude is using 50% of max, which means he benches max about 280

  • @dstorm2007

He does what I do - put one end over the bar, then under the bench and back over the other side of the bar. It has to be done with an empty bar. I have the bands set up so they attach right at the end of the bar, where the collars go, and have my elbows in the middle. Hope this helps

  • dude may i know how you attached the bands to the bench? I used dumbells in the past and they keep rolling around, makes it hard to focus on the lift

  • you are stong dude, stronger than me, but if you want to progress do every rep quickly, good trainings ;)

  • @milfflover interesting point. I think Simmons said to always do the eccentric fast, but there is also value to an eccentric load for the building of fast twitch muscle fiber. Eccentric contraction preferentially recruit fast twitch. Can you link that article?

  • nice touch with the chains and bands, but when doing dynamic efforts, you are not supposed to go slow on the eccentric phase (lowering the bar) the point of bands is to increase eccentric speed and acceleration of the chest. Bring the bar down as fast as possible and catch it and reverse as fast as possible. I used to do them like you until I read a west side article that set me straight - going slow only adds mass and soarness - does not build strength. Good for bodybuilding only.

  • my god i bench and go gym too...i only bench 35kg atm because i started going gym a month ago....i could imagine how much pain ur in :O

  • GOOD EXPLOSION!!!!

  • are all these the same person?

  • hmmm....
