Mini Morimoto D2S Bi-Xenon Projector High & Low Beam Wall Demo

This video demonstrates the high-beam and low beam output from an un-modified Mini-Morimoto D2S bi-xenon projector. A bi-xenon projector used the same HID bulb for both high and low beam operation. When the high beam is engaged in a bi-xenon projector, a solenoid drops the cutoff shield controlling the beam pattern.

Test Bulb: OEM Philips D2S 85122+ 4300k
Camera Distance: 45-50 feet away
Camera Position: Stationary Tripod, 6 ft fixed height
Projector Position: Fixed Stationary
Projector Mode: Low & High beam actuated
Projector Modifications: None

Note the instant high beam capability (no bulb warm-up time).

Its amazing just how well they perform isn't it? I'm retrofitting them into my Audi shortly. Tired of the D1S system in there with the fresnel lens and no high beam function.
