I've had this on dvd since it went on sale & yet I still haven't watched it,I don't know why! Whenever I see scenes from the film on YT I keep telling myself,watch it.Yet somehow it never seems to happen! It's that one line,"I wish I could quit you",one of THE BEST lines,ever,from a movie.I can't think of a better way of expressing it,"I wish I could quit you".It can be said for so many reasons.It looks like a beautiful film.

such a beautiful movie. makes me soo sad to think that Heath is no longer with us. RIP you beautiful, talented man.

Also, I love Jake Gyllenhaal's acting in this movie so much. this is my second favorite of him (after Donnie Darko). we watched it in my flimmaking class and surprisingly none of the guys in my class were repulsed in any way....and it even changed the way they see gay men. it's just a beautiful love story that you can't help but fall in love with.
