I love Helen Mirren's portrayal of Queen Elizabeth--it shows realistically the struggles of a sensitive woman coping with the high demands of ruling a country.  I also love the friendship between Leicester and Elizabeth; was it historically accurate does anyone know?

@reikifan222 Yes it is, The Earl of Leicester was the closest thing Elizabeth had to a lover!

He was also a good politician but only a fireside general but he was a good solider.
