@discoAL If only it were that simple. As most hip hop anthems, this was was breakbeat driven complimented soulful vocals, like Chill Rob G's Power (Go tell me that's not Hip Hop) by at a time when House and Hip Hop collided, and was infectious from Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation to Kid N Play the scene and sound wasn't bound as it is now. It's unfortunate your perspective is limited...go watch an episode of living color and be a hard rock somewhere else.
