I remember when Gentleman Saul managed the hated heel team of Sputnik and Rocket Monroe! LOL...!!! It was GREAT! Saul would pace around the ring and every now and then stick in his cane, tripping up the opponents. Probably Eddy Graham and Sam Steamboat.... The good ol' days.
during the early 70's i was a young wrestling fanatic in nyc. the only exposure we had to gentleman saul was thru the wrestling magazines. there was zero chance of seeing him unless you could physically attend a card in the deep south, or watch their tv. so here we are, almost 40 years later and all this is free for the taking. was it worth the wait to see him? yes, he is incredible!
This is hilarious!!!!! 0:58 "That stupid midget"!!!!!

you won't wrestle me on account of your religion your a devout coward.
Classic. The best Luce bit was when Maniac Mark Manson (helter skelter lookalike)
got his hands on Aunt LaVeau's voodoo cane and put a hoodoo on Bob Luce!
There was a strange sound and the camera vibrated, and then Luce started laughing so hard they had to cut to commercial. Aunt laVeau indeed.

I watched this stuff in the early 70s in miami, South Florida... it was unrreal ...
talk about a bare bones set a table and couple of chairs for the two announcers.
I especially remember the VERY NYOUNG DUSTY RHODES and he was so terrific in his promos.
He was originally the JUNKYARD DOG born there and you know the rest...
Much better THEN than it is today...like all sports money ruined it like our great nation!
