Tricia: Hi Tony and Hey everyone
Tony: Tricia it looked like the Broncos would run away with the AFC West. But a bad loss at Kansas City and now a loss at home to Jacksonville and things have tightened up with your Chargers only a game back.
Tricia: Yeah, I thought the Broncos were going to snag the west Title early- but those Chargers, even after a tough start, never give up.
Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Lets look at those Broncos here. Denver is at New England with the Patriots at 3-point favorite. Its Monday Night Football at 8:35PM Eastern time with ESPN televising. Tricia what happens here.
Tricia: Take Denver with plus 3 points. The Broncos have won 16 of the last 19 meetings with the Patriots. And, so far this season, New England has been struggling both offensively and defensively. The Patriots defense has given up 89 points in the last 3 games and they are allowing close to 6 yards per play. On offense, quarterback, Matt Cassel, has had a tough time moving the ball and completing scoring passes. The Broncos will look to take advantage of an inconsistent New England team and bounce back after their tough loss to Jacksonville last week.
Tony: Oh Tricia, arent concerned with Denvers defense. They look a little weak against the run. Dont you think the Patriots might try and pound the rock.
Tricia: Well, ya, I think Denver has to be concerned with their defense. If the Patriots have any chance at winning this game, it will come down to their running game, and so far this season it has basically been non-existent.
Tony: What about the Monday Night Football factor. Wont the Patriots will be fired up and fighting mad coming off their spanking against the Chargers.
Tricia: haha ya, Monday night Football or notI think the Patriots bottoms are still a little bruised from that San Diego beat-down.
