IT LOOKS MAD - I KNOW. BUT I KINDA FELT THE LOTTERY NUMBERS WOULD BE FOUND ON THE DATE WHERE IT OCCURE IN PI.

I searched the sequence Pi with a webpage for doing so looking for where the date, "08052009" first appears. It actually first appears at position 15,145,310 counting from the first digit after the decimal place. I printed off 400 digits with the DATE in the middle and asked my work mates to circle lottery numbers.

The rules that I use are: 1) the lucky stars need to be next to a zero 2) try to pick numbers as close to the date as possible, otherwise, why do this? 3) you can pick numbers forwards or backwards.

I didn't explain the rules to anyone so as to not confuse people more. It was bad enough saying where the numbers came from, even as simple as this is. STUPID ME, I printed off a sequence that was too long even though my gut instrinct said to print off only 50 digits and work from this. I heard this intuition while doing this process.

The last time that I did this when the Euro Millions was £126,000,000 all the lottery numbers were would within 22-24 positions of the date.

I DID FIND 3 OF THE 6 NUMBERS USING THIS METHOD.

Does Pi have meaning? Is this a coincidence? Am I mad? Who knows !!!! Cool however.

  • Can you send me some winner number for lottery

  • People love to make patterns out of randomness. It doesn't work. I tried it. Lottery was designed so we can see patterns, where none exist, so that you can waste your money.

  • #mindfuck

  • i like Pi

  • at first i was interested but then you mentioned that you searched pi for 15 million digits to find this sequence....

  • Very interesting. There are loads upon loads of coincidental digit patterns within this constant. I've been writing about many of them over the past year. Did you know that quite a few of them actually touch base to key numerical patterns associated with 9/11 and the Mayan end date in 2012?

  • you big liar

  • PLAY THE CHINESE FORTUNE COOKIE

  • No one can predict the lottery numbers. all you need to win is L* U * C * K
