i think the ff x and shenmue dub are better in english.

The Japanese cast is almost always better. Licensors can never afford decent English speaking VAs other than Steven Blum or Paul Dobson or something. All the best VAs work on big name cartoons, Disney or Broadway. The money and fame anime and video game dubs offers is peanuts, whereas the whole seiyuu industry in Japan is rigged to make voice actors that aren't already famous, cheap as hell, and anime and video games are exactly the niche you want to land to get the obsessive fans you need.
