  • The slide at :55 to 1:00, is it missing the word "father"? You have, "...is seated at the right hand...". Bro, finish the sentence.

  • the nicene creed altered by heretics!!! those who choose to establish a man made christianity in 1054 and create an apostolic succession out of claiming st peter but rome lost it when it use fallacies and created dogmas not adhering to the holy tradition..shame on heretics

  • @Dedicednu stay baptist no offensive to catholic people but to me catholic is every werid ashes on your forhead/ if the parents dies then it goes to like your friend not a family member such like cousin or gandpra who evers alive and is a family member... seriousy i love god and some of you might think i am crazy and stuiped but i am telling the truth pleae reply and i can tell you more amen

  • This verse was added to The Nicene Creed in 381 because a movement defined The Holy Sprit different from The Holy Scriptures.

"And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. In one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen."

  • "We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the son"...is NOT from the original Nicene Creed.

"and the son" was added to the Creed at the Third Council of Toledo (589).

This means that The Holy Spirit holds a position below The Father and the Son...which is wrong. All 3 are equal. Every decree from the Creed is from Holy Scripture.."and the Son" is not. See: Matt 28:19, Acts 5:3-4 and please research the Filioque issue for more.

  • @thecheese34 how is that a compromise? there is only one Church, and your father should know that.

  • What a pity they didn't seek the fullness of the faith that lies back in the Catholic Church. Jesus established one Church, not Churches and none of the 30,000 + protestant churches still around today. Jesus wanted unity, he wanted one Church and so if you want to do what Jesus intended, seek His Truth in the Catholic Church just as the early Church Fathers did.
