pray for me.... I attend church, read the WORD but more out of a duty.... I want to fall in love with God as I did when I was a young man. We have a handicapped daughter who depends on others for everything.... I want to depend on God for everything and to really love him and look forward to talking to him.

@rickmlamb1 The knowledge of God's love is so amazing, if you put and keep your faith in him, he will open your eyes, he has a plan for you. Look for God for yourself, search for him like you would a treasure and you will find him.

I know He's the greatest love of my life, but I still have trouble REALLY giving everything over to Him. The more I read the Bible, it makes me see that most of us folks here in America don't have a crazy love for Christ. Too many distractions, too many earthly riches, too much comfort. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself... Thank God for grace!

What book/chapter does it talk about that prayer from Jesus that Francis was talking about?

@rickmlamb1 we have to realise and allow God to lavish His love on you first to be able to love HIm. We love HIm because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Theres tremendous power in His love. It's always life changing can conquer sin, fear insecurities, can heal!

@hazel1eyes my personal favourite Hillsong songs and covers include Desert Song, Yahweh, Hosanna, How Great is Our God (Chris Tomlin), You Reign, Mighty to Save, Nothing but the Blood, No One Like You, Our God is Love and Amazing Grace (of course!). I also like Tenth Avenue North (esp. You Are More) and Beautiful by Mercy me for example :)

@IamDUFF Just wondering what Hillsong albums you listened to...I'm not that familiar with them, other than the song Lead Me To The Cross which I love.

I got it when I spent 5 days listening to pirated albums of Hillsong United. One album a day, trying my best to not let my mind wander and to pray as intently as possible.

It wandered often, and I don't pirate things anymore, but that was the single most worthwhile thing I've ever done.

I can't possibly explain.
