perfect striker 3 ps2 on ps3 full hdmi with ps3 smoothing

The parting of the waves......Notice how my hungry centre forward runs onto the manual through ball i place and how i push the ball to the side to create a lovely pocket of space for my forward.Without doubt the most realistic football game ever made that in terms of animation and player control and smoothness is light years ahead of the PES series with a control interface that makes PES seem like a arcade game.I wish seabass would realise how right konami had it back between 1996-2001 with this game and much like the original street fighter 2 its perfect and like the graphical remake street fighter 5 by capcom on the next gen platforrms this year this is what konami need to do to with pes.This game had a look,responsiveness and levels of manual control that has not been bettered in 10 years a real shame because this is the closest simulation of the real game ever made with true 360 degree movement.

ps2 games have jaggles or rough looking pixels when you look at the graphics close up as the ps2 hardware never had the ability to anti-alias like the dreamcast or gamecube via the hardware it had to be added by the coders but was rarely done as it is difficult to implement via code within the game.The ps3 hardware smoothes out the lines and rough textures and jaggles and can make games like winning eleven ect look much better then they would if you where running them on the ps2.

so in short if your lucky enough to own a american or japanese ps3 which has a ps2 chipset inside ps2 games look great compared to what they do on the ps2 more like a dreamcast or gamecube game.

Smoothing also works with Ps3 games. Try fallout new vegas for example, it looks much better with smoothing on

What exactly is smoothing? I see that option available but I dont know what it means. Can you explain?
