Produced by George Kerr & Sam Culley? oh shit.. they were the Skullsnaps! I didn't know they had their hands in this record! This was one of my fave records back in the day! The scratching was so ahead of it's time!
@newarkilly973, one day day I'm going to sample your father's voice 'cause i love his voice and his part so much on this record!!! I love this track!!! Did he record again after this?
LOL...Damn, I heard 'bout Has havin' a few jams, but never heard them...this is my man, Has...he moved out to Rahway, NJ years ago, 'n got wit' this sista I'm cool wit' name Suge...he had his daughter heavy into the rap'n thang for a good minute. He produces music, 'n writes R&B songs that last I seen him under the name of Bad Ink Entertainment!!!
I remember-August '86. Returning to Memphis State for my sophmore year, I had this potna' name Troy from Jersey ( true homeboy ), introduce this track to me via mixtape. And I still chant the opening verse to this day. And I agree with rdecaserio, it is "A must on a dj golden crate"!!!
No Doubt MC Hassan is one of the greatest and most underrated Rap Masters of all time. This brother had so many advance lyrics that it took niggas until the millennium to catch up to his shit. He is a phenomenal poet and sensei of rap lyrics (re: LL COOL J). I had the rare privilege and honor of hearing some of his stuff in person back in the late 80's and if released that shit would have been major till this day. - The Real Chuck Nastee, Posted 2010
