With cigarettes and cigars, if you put them out and relight them later, they are pervaded by a burnt taste for the rest of the smoke. Does this not happen with pipes?

Good tip man, thanks. Quick question, what's the risk of tongue bite for doing that? Or when you say you suck on it, do you do it like a regular draw, rather than a sharp draw? I'm sure this'll come in useful, there's always drama at my house lol
