Used a Map gas torch from ACE hardware and a casting crucible to melt some scrap 14k gold before sending to the gold refiner. New map gas bottle.

  • Did you have to use any borax or acid after to get a gold look, I have some 14k jewelry and already removed the diamonds, but I'm used to doing 925 silver, so started w 1 earring it turned black and charred looking? I don't wanna ruin ANY gold so I stopped right there and started looking for videos for knowledge
