  • Do you celebrate christmas? Or even easter? Have you ever celebrated christmas or easter?

  • When I was a christian I did celebrate christmas. Now I celebrate the winter solstice. Like Christmas, Easter is also a pagan holiday that was stolen by Christianity. I need to make a video about Easter it seems.

  • @ellimist6 Christianity itself is pagan. They follow bastardized Roman pagan traditions not the Commandments and laws that Yah had provided. Hell... even the Messiah (Yeshua not Jesus) got bastardized and given a make over (the white image of Caesare Borgia), but the average Christian will tell you he doesn't care.

  • Some believers view December pagan rituals and secular celebrations as insults to Christianity. To them, this validates their own Christian beliefs, as such celebrations are clearly oriented around Christmas. Of course, to the educated among us, they only show their ignorance that the complete opposite is true. Even when I considered myself a devout Christian, I was aware of this, and it pained me that ignorant commentators were so vocal and passionate about a holiday they didn't understand.

  • "Romans stole the Greek Gods"

Not entirely. See, the first 3 houses of what we would call 'Romans', were actually FROM Greece. They sailed and settled on the land. So, in reality, they just brought the Gods with them, and later changed their names. =P

  • I love this video ! Great job and nice music score too ! 5s and faved !

  • Ha! Fun quiz and information. The Nutcracker music is a perfect touch. The wikipedia article on Saturnalia is fascinating - I highly suggest it, if you haven't already read it.

  • that's a good ideea... "the winter solstice" sounds realistic, not inforced. now i have to figure out ways to make the celebration more fun. my personal contribution to it! great! many thanks:))
