@EternalFiend3 So true! I work at a hair salon and that is what we tell all of our clients! It sounds extremely disgusting, but it has worked for everyone I've told. Try to go as many days as possible (ideally, a week or so) without washing, and you will see a tremendous difference! Now I only have to wash my hair every three days, but I tend to stick to every other day.

@Anniemaretta Thankyou for the advice. I do use heat protectant spray anyway but I did end up just using my normal hair care routine and straightners on it and it was finee. Whicch is good! haah, didn't fancy going up in smoke.

@heylenahey it shouldnt, no. But to be on the safe side i'd use a heat protectant spray. You can get them at any drugstore, and they protect your hair against heat and affect of such a solvent.

Maybe your hair dries out so fast is because you over wash it?? I don't think it's good if you shampoo your hair everyday because you are taking all the natural oils out of your hair.

@MaddyKerr10 When I was around 13, I had amazingly greasy hair too, I guess I wish I had this then :P But my one massive tip for anyone with greasy hair is to try and wash it less. It is the opposite from what you want to do with your hair, but if you wash your hair everyday then you are stripping it of it's natural oils, which makes your scalp produce more, making your hair greasier. I now only wash my hair twice a week, and it rarily gets greasy. Hope this helps :)
