A friend launches the E in Santa Ana winds, catching the last of the ENE wind, getting a nice, scenic flight over Lake Elsinore. I launch a bit later and get a rodeo ride in rotorville.

how much does all the gear cost?? do you need a certificate to fly? and the last question. is there a age limit?? :)

@Nazror The gear costs from $2500 (used) to $7000 (new) to start. There is training involved, but it's pretty easy compared to other forms of flying and ratings are needed at most sites. 80 year olds regularly fly. The president of our club is a grandmother of 5 or so.
