Stone lifting World Champion Pehlwaan Kamran Akhtar setting a new world record 200.5kg

Pehlwaan Kamran Akhtar world champion lifts 5 mon 20.5 ser (200.5kg) at Barking Park, East London mela. This is the first time in the history of stone lifting where someone has smashed the 200kg mark. Pehlwaan Farhan Akhtar aged only 18 lifts 4 mon 25 ser (169kg) recording a personal best. Masha-Allah may Allah bless both brothers and Insha-Allah may they set many more records.

its a bit like cheating though because they dont straighten out their body, its like a swing into a crouch.

@IMnotSAS this is the technique in lifting these stones, you have to get under it by crouching or you will prob end up paralysed, this aint a lightweight

Brother, my dad used to lift 200kg in 1950s and he taught me a better technique.
