Two guys no one gives a rat's ass about, talking shit on the Johnny Carson of my generation. Conan rules. And, yes, Jay did say "I'm taking the Tonight Show back" by immediately undercutting Conan's ratings w/ his own lame ass ten o'clock show. It was his plan all along.

Failed to bring ratings to the Tonight Show and now has his shit show on some obscure channel no one knows about. Also he's a rich Harvard graduate snob.

My favorite part was when they said Conan shouldn't be whining to the press about losing his job, and then start whining why they weren't invited back to Conan's show. Looks like Carolla and Titus should change their names to Pot and Kettle, because they're both so black.

@WatchingCocoCameos Conan shouldnt be whining because he got millions of dollars out of it and also theres a good reason he was kicked off the Tonight show: he just wasn't pulling the ratings. Carolla and Titus however were banned for no apparent good reason. their appearances were funny and had an overall good reaction from the crowd. Conan is just a pussy and can't take edgy comedy.

Sounds to me like the segment producer might be a be a bit of a douche, not Conan. Plus, the douchebag thing is to talk shit behind someones back on the radio. Sounds like Titus and Carolla have become two petty, bitter comedians.

Corolla's an ass. One of my fav's he said: "Fuck the school teachers. They work 5 months and make 80 grand. They're not heroes, fuck them."

Average national teacher's salary: 43,500 for 10 months of work, minimum 5 year education. Most start under 30k per year and face one of the most difficult job markets in the USA.

So what has Adam and Chris done with their careers?

Conan was a multiple Emmy Award winning & nominated writer for SNL, the Simpsons and his own show. He won and was nominated multiple times for the Writer's Guild of America.

TItus was on a show that sucked and had horrible ratings, same with Carolla.

Combined ratings for both of their careers didn't add up to what got Conan fired from the Tonight Show.

He was censored heavily & still was nominated for multiple awards in his brief stint.

@sloth85 Now his staff is working with him on the new show. And he gave the employees part of his severance pay. I don't think he had to give them a bit of his personal exit pay but he chose to. I think that shows classiness.

Jay did feel hurt that he lost the Tonight Show. If he did, why didn't he just fucking leave NBC and do a competing show on another network? He had gotten some offers, including one from ABC.

@sloth85 Well, Conan also has written what are considered some of the best Simpsons episodes of all time (One episode, Marge vs. the Monorail, is considered to be Matt Groening's favorite). Also, Louis CK was one of the first writers for Late Night w/ Conan and he has credited that show to be the savior for his career. Also, Tom Hanks, who has guest hosted SNL frequently, has credited Conan to be one of the better writers the show ever had.
