Yamaha YZ490 gets dragged out of the shed after 10 years since it was last moved (20 years since last ridden) after beer talk down the pub sparked some long lost enthusiasm. Cheers to Rich Lammin !

U might want to do some tuning up on it it kind of sounds like u might need to maybe need to rebuild the engine

Honestly yes, despite last being started so long ago, at that time it had only a few hours

running with re-bore piston and rings. I don't leave fuel in it either.

alright so im wanting to get me a cr500 or kx500 and i dont want to settle for anything less because..... well c'mon theyre the baddest bikes around but ive seen these 490 on craiglist for like $500, would it be worth it? or should i just save up and get the bike i want
